Lofty White Liberals believe the future belongs to them. They'll drive (hover?) to their crystalline dwellings - sparkling towers where they'll participate in thoughtful discussions and sample hydroponic vegetables.
But Lofty Liberals love feminists, the transgendered, child advocates (whatever their merits they make child-rearing burdensome), diversity, and undocumented immigrants so in the future Lofty Liberals will be extinct. Already their attenuated forms seem unconnected to the earth.
The future belongs to the dark and dirty, the brutal and primitive. The future will see atavistic bands mired in ceaseless conflict: ignorant armies that clash by night. The future will not belong to vegetarians and human rights attorneys, but to mullahs and dictators.
The future is not Sweden and Holland, but Sudan and Kashmir.
